Graded population
PSA, BGS, CGC and SGC population counts for every printing of a Pokémon card, grade by grade, with gem rate and the share graded higher.
Graded Population
/v1/cards/:id/population1 creditHow many copies of each printing PSA, BGS, CGC and SGC have graded, and at what grade. The counts come from the graders' own population reports, merged by GemRate, and refresh weekly. Pro and above; the Free plan gets 403.
There is one object per variant, named as in price rows ("Holofoil", "Reverse Holofoil", "1st Edition"). Variants that are one physical print carry the same counts. A card nobody has graded, or that we have not matched yet, returns an empty variants list rather than 404.
grades sums the graders' numeric grades, keyed "1" to "10" with halves as "8.5"; a grade nobody issued for the card is absent rather than zero. pristine (BGS, CGC and SGC 10 Pristine) and black_label (BGS Black Label, CGC Perfect 10) sit above a plain 10 and are not in grades. total_gems counts each grader's gem grade or better: PSA 10, BGS 9.5 and up, SGC and CGC 10 and up.
percent_higher gives, for each key in grades, the share of numerically graded copies that graded higher, Pristine and Black Label included. It is the usual input to a grading-ROI estimate: a raw copy that comes back a 9 or better has percent_higher["8.5"] odds.
graders carries each grader's own report, with its total, its grades, pop_report_url and, for PSA, spec_id. updated_at is when we last fetched the counts; last_population_change is the last day any grader's count moved.
