Changes to the PkmnPrices API and site in October 2026: new fields and endpoints, limits, behaviour that moved, and fixes. Newest first.

Additions

  • GET /v1/cards/{id}/population: how many copies of each printing PSA, BGS, CGC and SGC have graded, at every grade, with gem_rate and percent_higher. Pro and above

  • Graded population on every card page, grade by grade and per grading company, and in a collection entry's sheet, where a slab shows how many others share its grade

  • updated_at on eBay sold comps and an updated_since filter, so a copy you keep picks up comps we corrected after they went in, such as a regrade or an accepted offer's real price. since still returns only new comps

Additions

  • graded, grader, grade, signed, altered and min_sell_count filters on Cardmarket listings, cards and sealed. graded=false&signed=false&altered=false leaves out the offers that don't count toward the market price

  • opened filter on sealed Cardmarket listings, for offers whose seller says the product isn't sealed

  • period filter on eBay sold comps, cards and sealed: only comps sold in the last N days, for example grader=PSA&grade=10&period=90d. since still filters on when we collected a comp

  • artist and hp filters on /v1/cards, and tcg_player_id on /v1/sealed

Improvements & Changes

  • A query parameter an endpoint doesn't read is now named in a Warning response header. It is still ignored, not rejected

  • Common alternate names are read as the documented parameter: per_page as limit on price history and listings, limit as per_page on lists, q and search as name, days as period

  • Spanish cards: 74 sets, priced in EUR from Cardmarket

  • eBay sold comps for Spanish-language cards, collected directly from ebay.es

  • Spanish in the catalog language filter

Bugfixes

  • /v1/cards price filters and sorting use each card's latest price in the requested currency. They used to mix USD and EUR, match on any past price, and ignore number, tcg_player_id and total_set_number

  • seller_country on Cardmarket listings, cards and sealed: the seller's country as a two-letter code such as IT or DE, or null when we don't know it

  • seller_country and exclude_seller_country filters on Cardmarket listings, for example seller_country=DE,AT or exclude_seller_country=CN

  • grade_qualifier filter on eBay sold comps: pristine, black_label, or none for plain 10s and every other grade, for example grader=BGS&grade=10&grade_qualifier=black_label

Bugfixes

  • eBay sold comps titled "TAG 10" or "ACE 10" now carry grader TAG or ACE. They were returned as ungraded before

  • Cardmarket listings for variant=Reverse Holofoil were nearly empty on common cards, because cheap normal copies filled the offer limit. Reverse holos are now collected separately

  • A declined proration charge no longer drops an API plan upgrade to Free. The plan changes once the charge is paid

  • The email sent while a renewal is retried says your plan is paused

  • sale_type filter on eBay sold comps, for example sale_type=auction or sale_type=auction,fixed_price,best_offer_accepted. Comps with a null sale type are left out

  • Card names no longer end in the card's own number: "Gyarados 21/98" is now "Gyarados". The number stays in number

  • Collector, $5.99 a month, lifts the free limits on cards, collections and price alerts, and adds full value history, photos, the collection report and unlimited scans. It is billed separately from API plans and includes no API access

  • Scan a card with your camera and add the closest match in one tap. Reprints that share artwork come back together. Free accounts get 20 scans a day

  • Make default in the collection switcher moves the Default badge

  • Free accounts hold up to 500 cards in one collection, with 3 price alerts and 30 days of value history. Cards over a limit stay; the limits only block adding more

Bugfixes

  • New eBay comps sold by accepted Best Offer carry the price the buyer paid instead of the asking price. Older ones still carry the asking price, and listings that sold several copies by offer are left out

  • eBay comps no longer skip a card's recent sales when one older sale appears out of order in eBay's results

  • eBay listings that sell two cards together, such as Pikachu 227 with Cramorant 226, are no longer recorded as comps for either card
